Calgary, AB – XSENSOR Technology Corporation announces the promotion of Richard Brass to Senior Vice President, Sleep who will lead the sales team globally, and the hiring of industry veteran Brent Biermann as a Business Development Manager, Sleep. “Since joining XSENSOR, Richard has been instrumental in growing our presence in the sleep market and helping our customers build success using XSENSOR’s REVEAL products,” says Bruce Malkinson, COO of XSENSOR Technology Corporation. “We are excited about the opportunity to continue to build our global presence and to continue to improve the experience for the retail customer, while increasing operating income for both the manufacturer and retailer.” Brass, former mattress and sleep technology executive, brings over25 years experience in the bedding industry including Regional Vice President of Simmons Bedding Company, President of T3 Recovery Worldwide, and Marketing Director for a key regional retailer. He has been with XSENSOR since March 2014 as Vice President Sales, Sleep North America and then Senior Vice President Sales, Sleep North America.
Biermann will report to Richard Brass, and assumes responsibility for REVEAL by XSENSOR business development in the Eastern US. Brent Biermann has 26 years of bedding industry experience in sales, operations and manufacturing as well as 9 years of department store retail buying history. He has most recently held a position as Sales Director in Consumer Bedding for FXI for the past four years. Previous to that he has held Sales and Operations positions with King Koil for six years, Serta for twelve years and Sealy for three years. “I am very happy to have Brent Biermann join the XSENSOR team in North America.
