Brazilian designer Roberta Ramme designed a wave chaise for teenagers. It is considered as the future bed of many teenagers.
She calls this inception the “Wave Chaise”, which includes everything a contemporary young would like to have. Primarily aimed at teens and featuring state-of-the-art technology, this bed integrates TV, DVD and a music system along with a computer desk in its front, making it perfect for just about any modern activity. It also includes storage space, so you can even keep your books amongst the marvels of the modern world present in this piece of bedroom furniture.
Designer Roberta Ramme states: “Imagine a furniture to wear… then dress it with an innovator design, intense colors, ergonomics and technology appeal. Like in fashion, the point is to unify beauty, comfort, and functionality. Whether your desire is to watch TV or DVD, listen to your favorite CD, read, talk on the phone, or even study, take a nap or browse the internet, you got it close, in a multifunctional chaise-longue. This concept is inspired by the values and personality of a today’s teenager and the standards generated by a global hi-tech culture of facilities, where the access to technology is cheap and easy. The bed even has a storage space for all media required. But then again, sometime in the future, these CDs and DVDs may soon be obsolete.
