TWO FOR TUESDAY Program Provides Buyers Access to Both Shows
LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Market and ASD Marketweek announced a first-ever collaboration, called “Two for Tuesday”, bringing together the collective resources of two major tradeshows and thousands of resources. Two for Tuesday will run August 4 from 1-6 p.m., during which time there will be free and continuous shuttle service between the Las Vegas Convention Center and World Market Center. During this period, each show will honor one another’s attendee badges, providing free and easy access. “By partnering with Las Vegas Market, we are pleased to be able to offer buyers even more value and choices by attending two unique markets in Las Vegas,” said Karalynn Sprouse, Executive Vice President, Emerald Expositions. “ASD is known as the international marketplace to find trendy and affordable merchandise – offering the opportunity for higher margins at retail.” Minimal overlap between ASD’s exhibitors and Las Vegas Market’s showrooms and brands will deliver more than 4,500 unique resources, creating a new and unparalleled incremental buying opportunity for global retailers across differentiated, but related, categories. Las Vegas Market features fashionforward and style-driven gift and home décor brands. Through the collaboration of these industry-leading shows, buyers will get an even better return on their trip to Las Vegas this summer, as well as exposure to new vendors and merchandise categories. “Our collaboration with ASD provides a unique opportunity for buyers to find entirely new products and our tenants to reach new channels of distribution,” said Dorothy Belshaw, President of Gift + Home Décor for International Market Centers. “By bringing the collective resources of our market together with those of ASD, we are helping to maximize their investment and their time at market. Since we started this market ten years ago, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to seek out ways to add value and improve the market experience for our growing customer base.
