“Since 1993 my company has been producing bases, beds and armchair sets and other furniture.
I personally have been in the industry and have a valuable experience in furniture business,” says Adnan Akgun, the founder of Doga Furniture Company. He introduced his company and activities they made:
“We tried to produce the best beds for health of the customers. We are developing new products by utilizing visco technology that can be used in summers and in winters. Recently we started to produce de-mounted type crate bases.” he said.
Doga furniture company has a factory of 5 thousand sqm in Sarigazi, Istanbul where 75 people were employed and delivers its products to other sellers or individual customers. Daily capacity of the factory is about 400.
“We produce upon the orders and choices of our customers. We procure all our inputs from domestic sources and export 20 percent of our production to certain countries, such as Germany, Holland and Belgium. 2013 was a good year for our business, though there was no boom due to the global crises. We are optimistic about the year 2014, we aimed higher results by developing new products and expanding our market abroad,” he concluded.
