The new product of Bambi provides comfort all year long by both keeping heat and defeating humidity
With increased media coverage, recently, Bambi is improving its brand awareness. Producing 500 mattresses daily in its factory in Izmir the company expands its export markets. Emre Gokmen, export manager of the company, informed us about their success in 2017 and their plans to grow more in terms of both customer and product portfolios in 2018. Gokmen answered the questions of Sleep Well magazine:
What was the most attractive product of yours in 2017?
As Bambi we currently have twenty different models and we have four additional models in our 2018 collection. Customers want to see new products and new stories every year, and we offer them new products year after year. We have a product made of soft core of kapok plant by blending it other fibers. We display other products besides latex and visco products.
What were your plans at the beginning of 2017 and what can be said about performance during the year?
We started the year with a major ad campaign and results are more good than we were expected. We grow fast thanks to our high performance of our marketing team, their services and the products we produce.
This is the third day of Furniture Istanbul. Have the fair met your expectations? Do you participate in other sectoral fairs?
We are so happy with the fair. Visitors are interested in more than we expected. We wish the fair goes as it is planned.
What are your targets for 2018?
We want to grow more and expand our product portfolio and customer base. Naturally, we will be active in export markets.
How many countries do you export? Do you export to Russia?
Out of Russia, we sell to 13 countries. We did not sell to Russian market. We have distributors in Europe, Middle East and in Africa.
