The US technology giant has reportedly bought Apple’s Beddit to start measuring people’s “sleep quality”.
The Finnish Beddit company, which designs products that measure body fat while people are sleeping, announced that it was bought by Apple.
In a statement from the Finnish company, “Your personal data will be collected, used and disclosed under Apple’s privacy policy.” The statement was included.
In the description, it was stated that Apple users could install “Apple HealthKit” on their devices and connect to Beddit’s mobile application and learn sleep qualities by transferring data between the two applications.
Users can see the different sensors such as heart rate, respiration rate, mobility during sleep, snoring etc. during sleep by placing the thin sensors produced by Beddit under the sheets. Users who learn sleeping tendencies can improve sleep quality by following Beddit’s recommendations.
