3 new stores for Europe in one week.
In line with plans for greater overseas presence and reaching more consumers, Turkey’s furniture leader Istikbal opened 3 brand new stores in Europe in a week. With the opening of the first store in Hannover and Munich in Germany and the addition of another new store in Salzburg, Austria, 3 new Istikbal stores were made available to consumers. Now there are 10 Istikbal stores in Germany, 3 in Austria and a total of 82 all over Europe. Boydak Holding Board Member Bekir Boydak was present at the store openings and noted as saying “Istikbal brand is active on the European continent as its biggest furniture manufacturer. We plan on reaching 100 stores in Europe by 2017.”
Turkey’s leading furniture brand Istikbal, a part of Boydak Holding, opened 3 new stores in a single week in Europe in line with its overseas growth plans. With the store openings in Germany’s Hannover and Munich cities and Salzburg in Austria, the Istikbal brand now reached 10 stores in Germany, 3 in Austria and total of 82 exclusive stores in Europe.
Bekir Boydak; “We are the largest furniture manufacturer in Europe.”
Boydak Holding’s Board Member Bekir Boydak indicated that as Europe’s largest furniture manufacturer and in line with their global goals for opening new stores overseas, the brand will increase new store opening activities abroad, and remarked “Istikbal brand is active on the European continent as its biggest furniture manufacturer. Our brand collection includes everything to furnish your home to suit an array of styles. Quickly we are taking our place as a furniture trend leader. Currently we are active in Europe with 82 exclusive stores. By 2017, when we will be celebrating Istikbal’s 60th birthday, we hope to reach 100 stores in Europe.” Bekir Boydak added that new store openings are in the works for Duisburg and Berlin Wedding in Germany, and another in Lausanne, Switzerland.
“This year our goal is growth beyond Europe.”
Bekir Boydak stated that Istikbal’s main goal is to become a household name in furniture, working hard to become a preferred brand by everyone. He added that “we are a brand that easily adapts to consumers’ expectations and works hard to be the industry trendsetter, determining trends rather than following them. We’re set on strengthening our existence not just in Europe but throughout the world, to truly become a global brand. We have stores coming up soon in Canada, Zambia, Ghana and Sudan.”
