Producing in line with the needs of the sector since 2005 Unimet has been developing its line according to different styles and expectations by combining quality and aesthetics.
Considering the fact that one third of humans is spent in beds Unimet aims at developing the sleep comfort and to contribute to this important factor. Mr. Sahin Kantekin, General Manager of Unimet said in an interview granted to Sleep Well Magazine that their objective was to heighten the standards with special mattress models, marketing approach and their experience in the sector.
Would you brief us about Unimet?
Since 2005, Unimet Metal has been making production according to the needs of the sector in accordance with an innovative line combines quality and comfort with developing different lives.
What does your product range include?
We have been producing metal bedsteads for 8 years. Last two years, we have also participated in producing with semi-finished and finished products in Boxspring market. We have conducted a study thinking about the expectations of bed bases inside the country and abroad and we have developed the mechanism of bed bases. We have received the patent of the product. Positive responses also give us confidence to develop the product.
What is your opinion about the sector in the Turkish market?
Unfortunately, there is a very little awareness about the comfort of sleep in Turkey. For this reason, low-priced products are preferred by people. Except special cases, our products are boutique products for our country. Depending on the comfort of sleep awareness will increase and our products will be more preferable. Stability, continuance and being innovative are the basis of our features.
