Established in 1984 as a small proprietary workshop to produce home appliances from pipes Evger has become an incorporated company in 1988.
The company recently started to produce end products for the market. Mehmet Durak, board member, said that they manufacture metal cases for mattress industry.
30 years of experience
We are one of the major companies producing metal cases and bases in Kayseri. We have two factories, one in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, on 20 thousand sqm land and the other is of 8,500 sqm. We employ about 130 people. In one of the factories we produce furniture accessories made of plastics and metals. In the other, we produce metal bases and furniture cases. Bunks, foldable beds, metal beds are our main products. We have 30 years of experience in the business.
On exports
In 2013 % 45 of our manufacturing was exported. Earlier it was % 15. We tripled our exports. Israel, Iraq, Morocco and Algeria are our major export markets, besides we sell them to America, Holland and Germany. Logistic costs for these markets are high, naturally. We have no other problems in export markets.
We have ISO 90001 quality certificate as we emphasize on quality. We want to build our own brand, last year we began to invest in R&D. We added a new product line targeting to education market. Next year we will enter in medical market, with new beds and accessories. We also have a partner in Holland for renewable energy market. We will produce solar energy. We prepare business offers in this market. We hope to get their results soon.
