With an entourage of over 325 of their dealers, PT.
Massindo, the Therapedic licensee for Indonesia, celebrated its 30th Anniversary with parties and tours that took place in Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich. The sojourn took the group through much of Austria and Germany ending with an elaborate stage show, celebration, and awards ceremony held in the Fussen Musical Theatre in Bavaria, Germany.
“We wanted to treat our dealers like royalty, so we took them to some of the world’s most famous castles, once the home to kings and queens of old,” said Jeri Massie, president of PT. Massindo.
“This year we took 325 dealers to Germany and Austria, but next year we expect to take over 500 of our best dealers, and their family members, to Macau and Hong Kong for the 2014 Massindo Awards, and to be continued with an exclusive holiday in Nice, Monaco,and Barcelona,” said Massie.
Grand champions were selected among the dealers in attendance for each of the Massindo product lines, including Spring Air, Protect-A-Bed, their own Comforta brand, and the newest member of the Massindo stable of brands, Therapedic.
This was the rst year that a Grand Champion was awarded for the Therapedic brand.
The winner was Stephen Sanjaya of Plaza Mebel, located in Pekanbaru, Indonesia.
“It was a great honor for us to be the rst Therapedic Grand Champion,” said Sanjaya. “I hope we will be among the winners in 2014, too,” he said.
“We are thrilled to be a brand partner with the Massindo Group,”
said Gerry Borreggine, president/CEO of Therapedic International. “And, it was a great honor for me to present the rst Therapedic Award at the 2013 ceremony,” he added. Next year, Massindo and Therapedic are hoping to have multiple grand champions, according to Massie and Borreggine.
